Fatoumata's Story

Fatoumata's Story

My name is Mme Coulibaly Fatoumata Bouare and since 2011 I have been a member of the Jigiseme Falo Groupo in Mali. Of Malian nationality, I am 46 years old, married and mother of four children, all schooled. My husband is a veterinarian.

I trade in condiments and grain storage. I have been doing this business for over a decade. Before knowing the RMCR, I had a lot of difficulties to supply and satisfy my customers, there were always stockouts and my activity was not stable.

Our group (Community Fund) started taking the loan at RMCR from the Caisse de FALO. In the first cycle I had a loan of 25,000 FCFA. Today, we are in our sixteenth cycle and I am receiving an amount of 300,000 FCFA.

I have a shop and I buy from Koutiala and Sikasso. I basically sell to Falo's retailers. I benefit greatly from this business, which allows me to support myself and my husband in the management of family expenses (health, clothing, school fees and food).

I am very happy for the support provided by the RMCR.
