Chris Glynn

Senior Vice President, Transformational Engagement, World Vision US

Chris provides oversight at World Vision US, for teams responsible for the acquisition and distribution of resources from corporations, including cash funds, product donations and service-in-kind donations. He also leads World Vision’s major gift philanthropy and US programmes teams, and was the chair of World Vision’s For Every Child Campaign.

In his role, Chris is responsible for creating dynamic partnerships that result in significant investments of time, talent and treasure, and facilitating lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities around the world, as well as World Vision supporters.

Chris joined World Vision in 2010 after 25 years of for-profit leadership roles in sales, operations, customer service and total quality management. He is uniquely gifted at leading organisations to deliver superior results, while creating an environment where individuals can reach their personal potential.

In his role at World Vision US, Chris continually works to help his team enhance operations on behalf of the children and donors World Vision serves. Over the last four years, he has led World Vision US’ fundraising teams to achieve growth in excess of 60% in cash donations, while reducing fundraising expenses by more than one-third.

A Master Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt, Chris holds a BBA in management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA with a concentration in strategic quality management from Eastern Michigan University. Chris chairs the Ministry Impact Committee.
