Innovative Microfinance for Poverty Alleviation and Community Transformation (IMPACT)

IMPACT offers small loans to the entrepreneurial poor living in rural and urban India, enabling poor families to provide for the children wellbeing, sustain their livelihood, become self-reliant and come out of poverty.

IMPACT, the microfinance wing of World Vision, works alongside World Vision India complementing their development and humanitarian programs, providing access to microfinance.

IMPACT has been operational since 2005 and is currently working in four states of India with 10 branches covering more than 600 communities. As of June 2019, we have around 22,500 active clients and are impacting the lives of around 27,000 children 100% of IMPACT clients are women borrowers.

IMPACT helps poor women in their journey of transformation from various lacks to self-reliance and socio-economic empowerment. As women become empowered, the children of our borrowers enjoy better health, nutrition and education.
