Risk, Compliance and Recoveries Manager

George Jembe joined VisionFund in 2015 as a Finance Officer and is now heading the Risk, Compliance and Recoveries department. George was previously working with Press Foods (Tambala Food Products) as a Senior IT/Accounts Assistant, Petroleum Control Commission as an Accountant and Concern Universal as a Senior Accountant. George has over 20 years experience in risk, financial ICT and controls from various sectors including Manufacturing, Service, NGO and Financial. George holds a Diploma in System Design and Programming, a Diploma in Accounting, a Certified ACCA knowledge & skills module and is currently pursuing an ACCA professional module. In FY21 George was amongst the Silver Awardees of VF Africa Simba Awards as a driver of Change Agent.
