Simon Peter has 20 years’ experience in microfinance having joined VisionFund Uganda Ltd (formerly MED Net), in 2000 as a Credit Officer. He has vast experience in risk management, credit operations, and is a VisionFund International Certified Trainer of Trainees who has mentored and coached many staff who are serving the institution in different capacities.

Simon Peter has served in different capacities starting as a Credit Officer, Branch Manager and Regional Manager before becoming the Risk & Compliance Manager.

Simon Peter holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA International Business) from Amity University of India, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting) from Makerere University Kampala and a Higher Diploma in Marketing from (Makerere University Business School).
