Solidarity Group lending –Pamodzi

Solidarity Groups are built around the concept of social collateral where clients do not have sufficient physical collateral and whose credit history is only with VFZ.

Individual Loans – Chitukuko

Individual lending is designed to support clients who have graduated from CBs and SGs or have greater economic capacity and have assets that can be pledged as collateral for comparatively larger loans.

Lima (Agriculture)

Lending Methodologies:  Solidarity Groups, and Individual clients. Description: This product is meant to finance farmers involved in the cultivation of seasonal crops such as maize, soya bean, sunflower, groundnuts etc. to acquire the needed inputs such as fertilizer, seed and agrochemicals needed to enhance the production and productivity of their crop.

Horticultural Loans

 Irrigated agricultural loans Lending Methodologies: Solidarity Groups, and Individual clients. Description: This loan product is dedicated to serve the needs of a horticulture farmer. It can cover assets, inputs or a combination of both.

Njinga (Bicycle)

Lending Methodologies: Any repeat client, Solidarity Groups, and Individual clients. Description: This product is a parallel loan that allows VFZ customers to purchase bicycles on credit.

Dairy Loan

Lending Methodologies: Any repeat client , Solidarity Groups, and Individual clients.  Description: This product is designed for existing dairy farmers to assist them to increase their milk production and sales thereby increasing their household income.
