VisionFund joined Opportunity International as the majority partner in it microfinance bank in Kinshasa in October 2016, to provide financial services to entrepreneurs living in poverty.

Together, our commitment to investing in DR Congo has never been stronger. With nearly 34,000 clients having received financial education training, about 36,000 clients are actively saving $2.2 million in their own accounts.

Additionally, more than 12,500 clients have taken out loans, 67% of these clients being women, to invest in building up better livelihood for their families.  Jobs are created and parents can raise their children with hope.
