Beyond client relationship

VisionFund Malawi was blessed to provide an insurance payout to our client Stella, who recently and tragically lost her son. Clients like Stella automatically have life insurance as part of their loans with VisionFund, which extends to the whole family, to ensure that families can put their economic worries aside when a tragedy occurs and focus on their loved ones.

The cheque handover was witnessed by both Stella's loan group members and the surrounding community, who praised VisionFund for recognising Stella beyond the traditional client relationship. 

“Despite that the money will not bring back my child, I am very grateful to VisionFund for the insurance compensation after the loss of my child. I never believed this insurance was real until now," said Stella, tears rolling down her cheeks. "VisionFund should extend this good heart to other clients who might face the same situation as mine. I will invest the money in my business in order to recover from the shock my business suffered during the sickness and funeral expenses of my beloved son”
 

VisionFund is proud to support Stella through all the seasons of her life, and she is currently servicing a K60,000 loan in her third cycle. She is a mother of three children with one in heaven, and one dependent, and the family lives together in Mtondo village in Kasungu.
