Producing Organic Food

Gordana and Djordje Lazic are ensuring a better future for their children through agriculture and the production of healthy food. They started their business in 2008 and have been continuously upgrading it. 

Gordana and Djordje both have high school education and some work skills.  Both of them used to work in a state owned factory. However, the factory closed down, and in 2007 they both stayed out of work.  They have two children and they have always been committed to providing them with a more stable future. 

They heard about VIsionFund's AgroInvest loans through a neighbor who was already a client of AgroInvest. In 2008, they applied and received their first loan in order to start a small business – production of vegetables. Five years and three loans later, their business has expanded, they are producing healthy food and know they are never going to be out of work again. 

Moreover, they are optimistic about the future of their children as they are planning to invest in the organic food production, all with the support of AgroInvest loans.
