Madam Solange Malungu was born in Kalangala, DRC on 10/10/1973; she is 7th in a family of eight children.  She could not stay in school due to a lack of financial means. She lost her father when she was young and five of her siblings also died before her birth; there are only three children remaining out eight children.  She is divorced and has seven children. The eldest of her children is 23 years old and he is at university in Tunisia where he studies international relations, and the youngest is 3 years old and all are in school in Kinshasa.

Ms. Solange heard about VisionFund and got her first loan of US $2,500 in 2018 and then she took out her second iloan of US $3,000 to further strengthen her business selling bags of peanuts, corn and dry cassava.

Thanks to the loans, her activities are growing.  She was able to significantly increase the goods in her store.  And this allowed her to be able to support the studies of her children without any substantive interruption.
