Throughout Mike’s tenure at VisionFund, he has served in several leadership roles at both country and regional levels, as well as serving on several Microfinance Institution (MFI) boards. He is familiar with the Regional Head role having managed the regional operations for nearly five years (2012 -2017).

More recently, Mike has been VisionFund Myanmar’s COO and since 2020, the CEO. He also served as the CEO for VisionFund Cambodia and led the transition of the sale of the MFI. Prior to his work with VisionFund, he worked for Catholic Relief Services (Asia/Cambodia), Chemonics (Egypt), and Thaneakea Phum (Cambodia).

Mike is wholeheartedly committed to the work we do in the field, to our staff who work tirelessly and to the clients we serve. He is knowledgeable and experienced in our field operations, brings a depth of technical subject matter expertise, and is an adaptive leader and a curious learner who is eager to serve. 

Mike received his BBA in Economics from Bryant University (Rhode Island), his MBA from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business (Massachusetts) and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana.
