VisionFund Announces Two New Board Members

LONDON – 14 January 2020. VisionFund International is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its board of directors; Kate Lam and Luis Hermosa.

Ms. Kate Lam has over 25 years of experience in finance, having held senior management positions at Deutsche Bank, Bear Stearns and Standard Chartered Bank. She is currently the Managing Director at Ideanomics, a global fintech company listed on NASDAQ where she is responsible for capital markets activities and products that encompass traditional and new digital finance. Ms.Lam has worked in both Asia and the United States, is an active alumni at the University of Pennsylvania, and also lectures and speaks on topics such as fintech, digital financial products, and digital transformation.

Mr. Luis Hermosa is an independent financial consultant. He is a Board member of World Vision Ecuador, and has also served on the boards of Guayaquil Stock Exchange, the Quito Stock Exchange, the Quito Chamber of Commerce, the Ecuadorian Association of Mutual Fund Administrators and Trust Funds, and the Ecuadorian Association of Brokerage Firms. Mr. Hermosa has served in various roles including as President, CEO, adviser, stock broker, portfolio administrator, analyst, and as a university lecturer. He is a graduate of the Universidad Tecnologica Equinoccial and received his MBA from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
