Ljiljana Spasojevic became Regional Head of VFI Africa Region on 1 October 2018, having been WVI/VFI staff member since 1998.

Ljiljana started her career as a Loan Officer in Bosnia in World Vison Microcredit Program. During her career in World Vision/VisionFund Ljiljana served in various roles in the microfinance network including CFO in Serbia and Montenegro, CEO of Georgia and Azerbaijan and Regional Manager for Eastern Europe. Prior joining World Vision, Ljiljana was working in the marketing and advertising industry in Serbia.

Ljiljana has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Novi Sad University, Faculty of Economics Subotica. Ljiljana attend different trainings in area of management and microfinance industry such are: Wharton- Executive Education Leadership training, Philadelphia USA; Frankfurt School of Finance and Freedom House Program - Local Governance and Business Training, Banking and State Loans, Cleveland USA.

Ljiljana is married to Nikolas and they have two teenage daughters, Petra and Jovana. They are members of Serbian Orthodox Church.
