Kai serves as interim Chief Financial Officer for VisionFund International and is based in Germany.

From 2011-2018, he served in VisionFund’s Asia Region, first as the Regional Finance Director and from 2017-2018 as the   Regional Head and prior to that he worked for Deutsche Bank for 20 years in various capacities in Germany, India, and China. 

After taking time off to get a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in California, USA, Kai re-joined VisionFund in 2021 as the Regional Finance Director for Asia and shortly afterwards served as interim Chief Financial Officer for VisionFund International. 

He also holds an MBA from Ashridge Business School / London City University and a Master of International and Community Development from Deakin University in Australia.
