Ruth Kihumuro

People and Culture Manager

Ruth is a seasoned strategic human resource professional with expertise in talent development, performance management and a change agent with other skills in employee relations, succession planning and stakeholder engagement, and is conscious about diversity and inclusion.

Ruth began her professional career of over 18 years at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), before joining Stanbic Bank where she performed different Human Resource roles till 2019 when she joined VFU.

Ruth holds a Master’s Degree in Management Studies HRM), a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources from Uganda Management Institute (UMI) and a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce (Accounting). In addition, Ruth has completed several leadership trainings from the Global Leadership Center of Standard Bank South Africa among others and The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Leaders by Steve Covey.
